Fabric, 100% cotton, 44" wide. Sold as a 23" panel. American author Carol Aebersold and her daughter Chanda Bell wrote and published The Elf on the Shelf: A Christmas Tradition in 2005. The childrens picture book, written in rhyme, explains how Santa knows who is naughty and who is nice. The scout elves, adopted by families, watch and observe, relaying information back to Santa. Each night, after the family goes to bed, the elf uses his magical Christmas powers to fly back to the North Pole, where he reports to Santa and visits with other elves. Before the family awakes each morning, their elf will return from the North Pole. The elves enjoy games, especially hide-and-seek, so they usually find a different spot in their familiy's home each day. This panel shows the elf flying high over a snow covered village.
