U.S. Orders: Any U.S. order over $99.00 ships free. For orders of less than $15.00, it's $4.65. For orders between $15.00 and $55.00, it's $7.50. For orders between $55.00 and $75.00, it's $11.25. For orders between $75.00 and $99.00, it's $13.75. Shipping charges are calculated before any discount coupons are applied. We usually use the U.S. Postal Service, but on occasion may use UPS or FedEx Ground. We often ship the same business day, but always ship by the next business day unless there's a question about your order. We always send an email when we ship.
GENERAL RETURNS POLICY:
On July 29, 2021, Melinda's Fabric Shop announced that it will be closing in the near future. Therefore, from this point forward, ALL SALES ARE FINAL. NO RETURNS WILL BE ACCEPTED. If we make a mistake in filling your order, we will do our best to fix the problem. The former policy outlined below no longer applies to orders after July 29, 2021.
You may return new, unopened items within 7 days of delivery for a full refund. Items must be returned in their original product packaging. Fabric must be in its original condition, free of pet hair and/or smoke odor; it may not have been laundered, sewn or cut. We will pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error.
You should expect to receive your refund within two weeks of giving your package to the return shipper; however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper, the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it, and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request. We will notify you via email of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item.
Product Specific Policies:
We do not accept returns of the following items:
- Any product missing the serial number or UPC
- Items purchased from any other seller
- CDs or DVDs
In order to return any item, you must first contact us through the Have Questions box at the bottom of each page, giving us the details of your issue. We will respond on the next business day, giving you specific instructions on how to proceed. That email will include our address and a Return Merchandise Authorization number.
